RLA Labor Arbitrations
for Airlines
Samantha has represented major and regional air carriers in arbitrations with their labor unions since 2002. Since that time she has arbitrated over 100 arbitrations to decision with a strong record of prevailing awards. She has handled complex, multi-day contractual disputes involving pay, scheduling, training, overtime, covered work, and benefits.
She has arbitrated all types of discipline disputes, including theft of time, unacceptable attendance, violations of EEO policies, sleeping on the job, disrespect to passengers or coworkers, damage to company property, safety concerns, fraudulent use of passes or benefits, and failure to follow reserve/standby policies, among others. She has arbitrated against most major airline unions, including those representing pilots, flight attendants, fleet service workers, customer service agents, flight instructors, provisioning agents, and others.
“Samantha practices law in a very pragmatic way. She also relates very well to all of our employees and is a joy to work with.”

“Samantha plays to win. She is an excellent lawyer who brings her intellect, experience, and insight to bear on every case. But more than that, Samantha has a great instinct for legal work and for trial work in particular. Samantha is going to work the very specific facts and law of your case for the best result. Samantha listens- really listens. Then she offers solutions and strategies that are customized for you, not just a cookie-cutter answer.”
